Marshall McCann
Marshall McCann is an award-winning architect practice, specialising in Passive Houses and Energy Efficient Homes. As a brother / sister partnership, together Roisin McCann and Martin Marshall make a great team. Roisin’s weakness are Martin’s strengths and Martin’s weakness are Roisin’s strengths. Their approach is centered around ‘Designing a better future together’ and they wanted a visual identity that reflects that.
The repetition of the M in the business name stood out. The alliteration allowed the two elements of the practice to stand out in the logo as well as lending itself to an MM monogram. Separating the upright of the letter M gives the form a structural feel while the pop of golden yellow is a nod to creativity and personality of the architects.
