Peter Campbell - Outside Catering Donegal
Outside Catering Donegal is one of Donegal's leading catering companies, spearheaded by nationally-renowned chef Peter Campbell. Peter has over 20 years experience as a professional chef, working in establishments such as the K Club, Bang Cafe (Dublin), Castlemurray & Mountcharles Village Tavern.
Since 2017 Peter has provided professional catering services through his business Outside Catering Dongeal. Peter promises locally sourced ingredients, hand-crafted to suit the customer’s taste and wanted a visual identity that reflected just that.
The starting point for this project was the food inspired colour palette; leading with rosemary and sage as the primary colours with punchier turmeric, avocado, spearmint, tomato and rhubarb as secondary colours to help differentiate different seasons. The “signature” style script font used for Peter’s name echos the personal service that is brought to every catering event.
The logo elements have been reworked to create an icon which is useful for use on social media, to brand photography and use on menus. There are variations within these, allowing them to be used for seasonal events such as Valentine’s, Mother’s Day, Easter and Christmas making use of the secondary colours to add personality.
