An experienced dentist and aesthetic practitioner, Dr Cathy McElroy offers something slightly different to her patients. She is passionate about helping women regain confidence and feel comfortable in their skin. She focuses on natural looking aesthetics, so her patients look like themselves, just slightly better!
Cathy wanted a visual identity for her facial aesthetics practice that reflects her compassion and empathy for her patients as well as appearing approachable.
SUBTLE - EMPATHETIC - SAFE - ETHICAL
Colour was very important for this project. The overall aesthetic is soft and calm and intentional use of colour has helped achieve that. A palette of lavender, lilac, orchid and wisteria was the perfect choice both visually and also in terms of colour theory. Lavender is feminine and tranquil, suggesting compassion and kindness which fits perfectly the the core values of the business. Likewise, lilac is a soft, gentle colour which symbolises friendliness, innocent and youthfulness.
Like the colour palette, the form of the logo is delicate. The symbolism of the lilac flower included with a subtle linear illustration. The typeface is an ornamented, low contrast sans serif with just enough decoration to add character and without being overbearing.
